Its very good for younger generation to visit this place. It has very interesting gallery display about planets and memory of Kalpana Chawala.

Those people who have interest in science and occult science would really love this because this is completely scientific place to understand and must come in winters because the area is completely open and flowers are show amazing the ticket cost is very minimal and no food is available inside this location. A lot to learn here.

A definite must visit for everyone. The planetarium is very interesting with interactive models... you can find your own weight in different planets. The gardens offer an interactive fun zone and learning zone for planetary motions, lenses, gravity....related to physics and geography.... it makes it easy to understand motion of earth, moon and sun and various things that can be a little difficult to understand but when you see them in a practical representation..... it is easy... do visit it.

Very good museum. Very informative and very well maintained. They have ticket of ₹15 in which you can see the gallery and the garden. The gallery has a lot of information about space and planets and even zodiac sign. In the garden they have working models of many celestial movements. Garden is well maintained and has many flowers. It is situated just before jyotisar. It has ample parking space and washrooms are also there. Must visit with your kids.

Kalpana Chawla Planetarium is situated on Kurukshetra-Pehowa Road near Jyotisar Tirth which is totally away from crowd, traffic and pollution of city. The projects shown are planets positions in zodiacs, time yantras, weight on different planets, time in different cities of world. Puzzles and Quiz on Zodiacs and Universe are also present. Biography of First Aerospace Women Engineer of PEC, Chandigarh Kalpana Chawla is also shown with images and audio & video clips which is very inspiring for young generation. The Astro - Park is the main focus of this planetarium. Various projects on light, time and universe theory are installed in the park. The planetarium is spacious and well maintained. The urinals and toilets are clean and odour free. Sufficient parking space is available in front of main gate. Staff is very cooperative and helpful. DISAPPOINTMENT - Many services like 3D film show and canteen are not open after COVID-19 outbreak even when the situation is normal now and various doses of COVID vaccines are taken by citizens of India. Good place for people interested in space and astronomy. The documentary shown in the amphitheatre is awesome. A must visit place for students of science. The place is approx 90 km from Chandigarh and is the town of kurukshetra. Tribute to Kalpana chawla who is the first woman astronaut of Indian origin.

The planetarium is dedicated to the memory of Kalpana Chawla and takes you through her life journey.. The excellent programmes and supporting exhibits placed inside and in the Astro-park help the students in particular and people at large in learning this frontier area of science and satisfy their curiosities with a whole range of information about the Space.. This memorial is divided into three sections a planetarium, a gallery and an Astropark.. The planetarium shows a 30-minute movie on astronomical world.. The gallery explains various astronomical concepts with the help of three dimensional models and charts.. A special section is dedicated to Kalpana Chawla, where pictures are exhibited from her school, college and NASA life.. The astronomy shows are usually run in Hindi language and special shows both in Hindi and English languages are also conducted on demand for groups. The way it teaches you about different celestial bodies and life of an astronaut is really impressive.. With a good show and interactive elements, it's a great place to go for both kids and adults.. It is a great place for people who love space and are inspired by Mrs. Kalpana Chawla.. A wonderful place.. Must visit...
